Mireille is the Energy Justice Director. Before joining the Community Action Works team, Mireille spent two years with Green Corps, the Field School for Environmental Organizing — first as a field organizer, then as a lead organizer and assistant organizing director. During those years, she helped pass the Colorado Climate Action Plan and push the Sacramento Municipal Utility District to declare a climate emergency, pass a constitutional amendment to end gerrymandering in Virginia, and prompt an “investor rebellion” at a Procter and Gamble shareholder meeting to demand more sustainable toilet paper sourcing. Mireille holds a BS in Biology from Stanford University. When she’s not organizing with communities, she’s outside with her dog, reading a book, or cooking up something tasty.
