Hayley is the Vermont & New Hampshire State Director. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she moved to Vermont in order to study Spanish and environmental justice at Middlebury College. Hayley has spent the past few years learning about state-wide environmental policy, delving into the ethics of legal interpretation, and allying with farmworker activists at Migrant Justice. Her experiences in the Vermont organizing community have only reaffirmed her belief in the power of community-led social change, motivating her to put down roots in this state she now calls home. When she’s not frantically educating herself about environmental policy, you can find Hayley writing poetry, frolicking in bodies of water, and roasting up root vegetables in her Burlington kitchen.
