Dana is Toxic Action Center’s Maine State Director. Before joining the Toxics Action team, Dana worked as an environmental educator and a program manager on Hurricane Island in Maine. During her time there, she created interdisciplinary environmental and climate justice curriculum for middle and high school students. She holds a BA in Environmental Studies with a focus in Environmental Justice from Oberlin College, where she was involved in Palestinian solidarity organizing and supporting Lakota activists in fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock.
