No Biomass in Brattleboro, VT!
Biomass incineration, like burning wood pellets for energy, hurts our health, our climate, and our planet. In fact, biomass is dirtier than coal-fired power plants.
We need to be doing everything we can to stop climate change, while protecting the health of our communities and ecosystems. But the proposed Long Falls plant, just three miles north of downtown Brattleboro, would release toxic pollutants into our air and our water.
Sign this petition to show that you support clean energy for communities across Vermont, NOT a polluting biomass plant in your neighborhood.
