Press Conference on Springfield Public Health Council Site Assignment to be Held on June 6

Springfield City Councilor Orlando Ramos will introduce a resolution before the City Council on June 6th urging the Springfield Public Health Council to hold a Site Assignment hearing regarding the proposed biomass incinerator in Springfield.

Prior to the City Council hearing Councilor Orlando Ramos, Arise Director Michaelann Bewsee, Veronica Eady, VP and Director of the Conservation Law Foundation Massachusetts and Claire Miller of the Community Action Works will hold a Press Conference outside City Council chambers to explain why the Public Health Council is not only able, but obligated, to hold a Site Assignment Hearing.
